Job Description Health and Safety Manager Quezon City The Opportunity Manulife Business Processing Services is looking for a Health and Safety Manager who will be responsible in ensuring the company's operations follow the code of practices under DOLE and BWC. This person will be accountable in establishing and promoting maintenance of safe, healthy working conditions in the company by providing professional advices, formulating general safety and health and safety policies and measures. Accredited Safety Officer/Consultant level 4 by Occupational Safety and Health Center Working experience managing a team. Bachelor's Degree preference in Medical or Engineering related field. Competency and capability of facilitating standard safety and health processes trainings, incident investigation, risk assessment, identifying and developing appropriate mitigations and auditing. Passion, energy and committed to drive safety and health standards in workplace Appropriate local / national / international qualification in Safety and Health Management Willingness to work mid-shift. On the job you will: Responsible for crafting and developing of the company's Safety and Health Policy to ensure alignment and consistency with local laws, guidelines and procedures set up by Department of Labor and Employment and Bureau of Working Conditions. Ensure proper handling and compliance to all required audit, monitoring reports and regulatory requirements. Plan and drive the implementation of Health & Safety, Active Lifestlye, and Mental Health component of the company's wellness program in coordination with the wellness program manager, including OSH workplace policies (TB/HIV/Hepa B prevention), H&S awareness campaigns and vaccination drives Provide guidance from H&S perspective on the other components of the wellness program where needed, including Sports and Hobby Club Activities, Active Lifestyle initiatives, and Mental Health program Lead and drive initiatives for Emergency Response Teams set up in the workplace Provide the necessary safety and health support to all relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Facilities team in driving the implementation and ensuring strict compliance of safety and health standards in all sites. Manage the Manila and Cebu Health and Safety team including third party clinic group. Investigate accidents, prepare and maintain required reports.
