What it's about
We are in search of a candidate who will lead the shared services team of Partners Group's Platform Services (PLAS) business unit. PLAS looks after a variety of fund administration activities throughout the lifecycle of our extensive investment product solutions, including company secretarial tasks, execution of corporate and product related documentation and oversight of client due diligence on investors based around the globe as well as oversight over regulated services. In this role, you will manage a small shared services team dedicated to the operation of these activities. You will take charge of team management, people development, quality control and sign-off for your team's tasks and deliverables, in addition to broader managerial responsibilities, while working closely with operations teams, investment professionals and client relationship managers around the world.
You will be responsible mainly for the following tasks:
Establish processes and organize the growing team to handle a wide variety of tasks related to the business unit;
Day-to-day responsibility for management of a team and adequate allocation of resource;
Oversee the development of team members, including leading projects to support the development and growth of the team;
Review and sign-off a variety of fund and client-level activities, ranging from reporting into fund board and committees, executing contracts, operating the firm's core controls notification system, communicating with other internal teams and system updates across our global platform;
Oversee and coordinate responses to stakeholder requests relating to services assigned to your team;
Ensure highest quality output for the team as well as strict adherence to the established processes and procedures, in addition to focusing on opportunities to streamline such processes;
Be involved in broader managerial responsibilities as required from time to time, including leading relevant project and transformation deliverables.
What we expect
Member of Management level with at least 12-20 years of relevant experience in a multinational, shared services organisation in a service delivery management role. Exposure working outside the Philippines is an advantage;
Experience in the coordination and management of a team and defining and implementing individual development plans for team members;
Strong organizational and managerial skills are a must;
Willingness to take charge and be accountable for areas of responsibility;
Ownership mindset for the assignment of tasks, turnaround times and quality delivery;
Ability to identify and deliver on continuous process improvement opportunities;
Strong background in finance; knowledge of private equity is a plus
Flexible personality with very good communication skills and an excellent command of the English language
