Job Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Strategy and Program Management will work with and across multiple functions and levels of the organization, including close coordination with Global Operations and other stakeholder business units. The leader will have overall responsibility to manage a seamless funnel of opportunities from the 'pre-pipeline/business development' stage through migration and into operational sustainment in REPH. He/she will develop and maintain an enterprise view of all new processes and work, working closely with operational directors and functional leads to manage a wide program of migration work, a matrix organization of project managers, and varied business requirements for transition.
In addition to migrations oversight, the leader will oversee a broad spectrum of work programs and strategic ('umbrella') projects. He/she will ensure all program are executed and achieve the targeted business results. Establishment and evolution of the program management structure, governance, and a cadence of reviews and alignment sessions will be key to successful and efficient project execution, whether at the enterprise or division level.
Finally, the Head of Strategy and Program Management will be responsible to institutionalize REPH's strategy and planning process. Working closely with the Head of Business Development and Solution Design, this leader will lead review meetings, strategic assessments, and an annual planning cycle to continually evaluate and evolve REPH's strategy. While all members of the REPH Senior Leadership Team share in responsibility to be 'thought leaders' for their operational or functional ownership areas, the Head of Strategy and Program Management coordinates the overall team to frame questions, develop options, and transition approved options into an execution framework.
The leader will bring a deep understanding and practical experience in program and project management, as well as strategic planning for a large, complex organization. The Head of Strategy and Program Management will also have experience in the art of breaking down complex business problems into a solution framework, and leading a team to develop options or solutions - particularly in innovative or transformative environments where set business models may not exist. In this regard, the role is not unlike that of a strategic business consultant. The leader will be a collaborative leader who can partner with operations and functional teams to drive change and disrupt the status quo, and execute change across diverse businesses with independent strategies and at various levels of technological or process maturity. He/she will be a prolific communicator who can articulate complex ideas and provide organizational clarity across broad or seemingly unrelated programs of work.
Qualifications:
10-15+ years of progressive experience in leading strategic consulting/delivery engagements for business strategy and/or program management
Practical experience in driving strategic change execution for a multinational organization and/or Global Business Services model
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline; MBA preferred.
PMI certification or equivalent
Strategic thinker with deep business acumen and understanding of the global business services and BPO industry (from captive and TPA perspectives)
Experience in creating executive presentations and writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, program updates or strategic transformation
Proven experience in working with matrix teams for planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing various strategy recommendations
Must be able to work effectively in a role that may not have line authority, but requires skills and influence based relationships.
Ability to work closely with the business functions and internal REPH teams and establish strong relationships - both internally with business units, and externally, with vendors and providers.
Highly effective analytical, negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Effective communicator is highly articulate and able to convey important messages both verbally and in writing to all organizational levels.
