Head of Sales - Hygiene

The overall objective of the Head of Sales - Hygiene is to drive the National customer strategy of Profit and Margin growth, Net Revenue, 5Ps. The role must lead the achievement of customer strategy through Key Accounts and Distributor Partners, and in close partnership with the National Sales Teams, Trade Marketing and Sales Operations functions. On a longer term basis the role is responsible for developing a strategic partnership with the customers, thereby strengthening Reckitt Benckiser's positions in our categories and optimising all aspects of the commercial relationship.
The role has leadership responsibility for making key strategic and business decisions, managing the relationship at a senior level within the customer organisation, and leading and developing the national sales teams. The Head of Sales plays a key role within the country's trade sales leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Graduate of any 4-year course
Proven track record in Sales Management with major retailers
At least 3-4 years experience in a national leadership role in FMCG Key Account & Distributor Management
Experience of influencing and engaging senior management in own and customer organisations
Experience of leading multi function teams
Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing and/or Finance is an advantage
Highly analytical and numerate
