Job Brief
We are looking for a Head of People and Workplace to direct and oversee the general management strategy of PicnicHealth Cebu. If you will be selected for this role, you will transform and align the business strategy and goals of the organization, specifically in the areas of people operations, recruitment, site infrastructure, IT equipment maintenance and procurement, and finance and accounting.
The goal is to promote the role of strategic site and employee success programs and ensure the long-term success of both your group and the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities
People Operations
Collaborate with management team to craft the company's vision and mission
Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.)
Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity etc.
Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations
Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency
Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices
Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies
Ensure timeliness and efficiency of reports on HR metrics and KPIs
Track key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates
Lead HR projects like compensation and benefits plans revisions
Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations
Oversee our payroll and performance evaluation systems
Review and update our employment contracts and agreements
Prepare budgets by department
Manage internal communication projects (like job satisfaction surveys)
Measure the effectiveness of our benefits programs and recommend improvements
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
Manage and develop the People Ops Manager and People Operations Partners
Recruitment and Employer Branding
Craft talent acquisition and employer branding strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs
Ensure our hiring, onboarding and management procedures are effective for diverse groups
Manage the People Branding & Recruitment Manager and the rest of the People Branding and Recruitment team
Workplace Strategy
Manage a team of Facilities and Admin and ensure optimal delivery of the following tasks.
Oversee the day-to-day activities for the assigned property or facility
Implementation of procedures and performance measures-and ensure that they are maintained at all times
Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
IT Equipment Maintenance and Procurement
Manage the Information Technology team and ensure optimal delivery of the following tasks.
Manage vendors providing support systems/services to IT Operations and hold accountable to the contract including performance levels.
Ensure a good pipeline of IT vendors for site/work from home requirements
Negotiate with vendors IT peripherals pricing
Finance and Accounting
Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
Ensure timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
Requirements
At least 10 years working experience as a Head of People / Director for Business Operations / Site Director
Experience in strategic planning and implementation
Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, compensation and benefits, HRIS, recruitment etc.) and business operations (Site Infrastructure, IT and Procurement, Finance and Accounting)
Excellent analytical skills
Proven people leadership and development capabilities
Communication and problem-solving skills
