Purpose of the Role:
Lead the day to day people operations for both the Navitaire and Amadeus legal entities in the Philippines, including the creation and implementation of policies, procedures and programs. Provide leadership and guidance to talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management and business partner activities to the business. Provide strategic oversight on people-related topics covering both legal entities.
Main Responsibilities:
HR BUSINESS PARTNER
• Acts as an escalation point for matters concerning employees and managers in all business units being hosted in the country
• Proactively supports the delivery of P&C Processes at the client's side
• Manages and/or sponsors complex and difficult P&C Projects cross-functionally
• Builds strong business relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
• Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks on people-related projects, initiatives and programs
• Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management
• Provides overall direction in the designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
• Looks for opportunities to drive the overall people agenda to the business
TALENT ACQUISITION
• Plans and manages the significant expected growth in headcount over the next 12-24 months
• Provides overall guidance to the recruitment process using the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce considering market conditions
• Helps the talent acquisition team create a 'buy strategy' to attract and source more talent from the market
• Re-design and keep up to date the total candidate experience alongside with the team, as necessary
TALENT MANAGEMENT
• Ensures the consistent implementation of performance management system that includes Development Plans (DPs) and employee development programs.
• Addresses company learning needs including negotiating with providers, streamlining new employee induction/ orientation, leadership development, measurement of impact, etc
• Provides necessary education and materials to employees, managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks and reports
• Monitors the spending of the talent budget
• Ensures global and regional programs are being implemented at local level
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
• Develops People policies for the company with regard to employee relations.
• Partners with management to communicate policies, procedures, programs and laws.
• Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee engagement and motivation.
• Participates and/or leads the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
• Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company. Counsels managers on employment issues.
HUMAN RESOURCES INFORMATION SYSTEMS
• Reviews, analyzes and approves reports that are necessary to carry out people decisions in the organization. Prepares periodic reports for management and stakeholders, as necessary or requested.
• Fully utilizes the company's people software to the company's advantage.
TOTAL REWARDS
• Plans, organizes and execute daily operations and procedures of personnel/ P&C operations matters (Social Security, Insurance, etc)
• Ensures day-to-day benefits administration services are being carried out consistently and properly. Assists employees with any claim issues.
• Leads the planning and execution of total rewards programs and ensures regular benefit renewals with various vendors.
• Leads the execution and implementation of global and regional total rewards schemes, practices and policies within the country.
About the Ideal Candidate:
• University degree in Human Resources or related fields
• More than 10 years experience in HR from a multinational organization as a generalist and with operational experience of at least some of the following areas: recruitment, compensation, employment and labor regulation, training and career management. Experience in areas of structural reorganizations and organization development a plus.
• Good understanding of HR functions and processes. Understanding of IT industry would be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly excel. Good knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of human resources management and general business administration
• Strong serviced-mind, result oriented, analytical skills, team player and very well organized
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with high attention to accuracy and efficiency
• Cross functional team management
• International exposure
