You will join our Vestas IT/OT Competency Center in Manila. We are accountable for providing IT competencies, services, and support for our Global IT organization.
This position will optimize our Test & Release capability to bring our IT/OT solutions delivery to the next level, collaborating with key stakeholders in Global IT and beyond to secure alignment and one Vestas scalable governance which secures quality in the delivery, safeguarding the existing solutions. You will have the opportunity to work in a complex environment in an instrumental role to achieve goals in the journey that Vestas Digital Solutions is on.

Responsibilities

Build and direct a cohesive team effectively (people development, coaching...)
Alignment of the strategic vision for the IT/OT Test and Release capability at Vestas, its organizational interfaces with other IT capabilities, and the ability to set the long-term direction of the team
Development skills: aspiration to collaborate with other teams across the value chain to synergize and optimize our global IT/OT Test & Release footprint, governance and KPIs, supervising the transformation towards a simplified and scalable set-up
Solid communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with stakeholders

Ability to market and promote the Test & Release practice and to advocate for necessary resources, support, and appreciation for the team

In addition, the role is expected to provide the following output:
All Test and Release activities and deliverables are produced to the highest standard and delivered on time
Test and Release approach and strategy for projects, enhancements, upgrades, etc, guiding and guiding other Test and Release leads to ensure best practices are being followed, continuously improving them
Industrialization of the practice (people, processes, and technology), enforcing relevant governance oversight to ensure internal and IT Partners adherence to the defined Vestas standards
Other tasks but not limited to implementation planning reviews, secure document Testing and Release Plans, management of issues regarding coordination and approval of changes, report metrics and insights, collaboration in assessing and handling risks associated with deploying changes to the production environment, engagement with IT Quality Assurance capability as well as GIT Projects in the testing phases (manual and automated) of Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, UAT, Release Management
Testing activities may include tracking of defects and subsequent fixes, in close collaboration with IT/OT User Support services
Qualifications
To achieve your goals with the above responsibilities, we envision that you hold a relevant degree (IT, Technology, Engineering, Science, Business Organization, or similar) combined with the following:
3+ years of experience in a similar position(s), supervising complex global programs with multi-release, geography test cycles, complex workflows and working with global teams of varying levels of experience
Experience and commitment to direct, coordinate and supervise all the required aspects of the test scope, steering, providing support, and being the voice of diplomatic during pressurized situations
ITIL knowledge and certification
Background with relevant IT solutions (i.e. Postman, Tosca, HP LoadRunner, SonarQube, etc). ITSM tools knowledge, e.g. ServiceNow is also valuable
Cross-cultural understanding (DK, IN, PH...)
Good customer focus
