Description
The Head of Finance responsibilities include managing the cash flow, crafting financial strategies, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations including, but not limited to:
• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
• Approve or reject budgets
• Conduct risk management
• Supervise a team of Accountants
• Allocate resources and manage cash flows
• Maintain partnership with external fund sources
• Conduct profit and cost analyses
• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
• Work closely with regional top management
• Recommend best practices that promote financial sustainability
Profile
The successful candidate for the Head of Finance role will have:
• Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Controller, or similar role
• Strong background in FMCG, Retail, Distribution industries
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and accounting
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with multinational companies top management
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
