The Head of Communications is the voice of the company. The role will be responsible in developing key messages that are aligned with the company's business objectives and ensure these key messages are the base for story creations in the Philippines. Responsibilities Develop team members' career paths and personal growth. Represent the communications team in Management discussions. Manage and account for the communications team's budget allocation and spend. Develop communications strategies and associated implementation plans for both external and internal stakeholders. Execute the communications strategies and associated implementation plans together with the External Communications Manager and/or the Internal Communications Manager. Identify and measure success metrics for communications strategies and associated implementation plans. Augment marketing strategies through organic media outreach. Ensure all communications efforts echo the local key positioning statement. Drive strategic partnerships with local government units /industry associations /coalitions to iterate the local key positioning statement. Stay on top of the policy and regulatory developments, and when necessary - develop corresponding communications strategies. Ensure that members of senior management speak with one voice on key topics, and are armed with the appropriate messaging and latest facts. Identify and secure external speaking opportunities for the senior management team, and leveraging these opportunities in a variety of ways. Prepare for and handle crisis communications when necessary. Prepare a report of monthly communications activities. Qualifications: Must be a college graduate. Must have at least 10 years of relevant work experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-starter with PR agency or in-house experience covering technology / startups / B2B. Has existing relationships with relevant contacts in the business, tech, and lifestyle media. Has proven experience in collaborating with the marketing team, event managers, and/or other communication professionals. Knowledgeable in crisis management and is able to respond quickly to changing needs unplanned events. Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
