Responsibility
Ownership of the e-Commerce business vertical in a specific market.
Key point of contact for all things e-Commerce
Stakeholder management with senior leadership and board of directors to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Drive business expansion by identifying and developing strong strategic partnerships.
P&L management for the e-Commerce business vertical.
Ownership of the e-Commerce vertical online presence (App & Web) and direct collaboration with Tech & Product Heads for platform enhancements.
Be the subject matter expert in local e-Commerce trends, competitors, opportunities, and solutions.
Lead and develop a team comprising marketing, business, and operation executives.
Job Description
Oversee all existing and new products within the e-Commerce business vertical at the local level and to drive growth
They will work with Tech & Product directly, being responsible to drive innovation and enhancements for the e-Commerce vertical
They are required to source for business opportunities and maintain a strong knowledge of market trends in terms of competitors and landscape.
Develop an understanding of our product and operational offerings; this includes creatively providing solutions to our partners, merchants, and customers
They will need to own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the local e-Commerce team
Requirements
Substantial working experience with reputable regional/local e-Commerce platforms.
5-10 years experience in commercial & marketing roles.
5-10 years of management experience.
Tech-savvy, experience working directly with Tech and Product teams
Experience leading medium-size teams
