Position Summary:
Our Hardware Engineer will be based in Cebu and is a part of a globally distributed team, particularly focusing on the area of electronics. This position requires basic knowledge in electronics and testing of electronic devices and modules. The role involves close team collaboration among other electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers.
The Hardware Engineer should be able to work independently and be able to effectively communicate their work to others (written reports, mock-ups, prototypes and verbal presentations).
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Execute test procedures
Assist with development and testing of a particular module or test process based on detailed design documents
Test and release a small fix, process change or corrective action to improve quality
Update and write specifications or test procedures
Test Design, development in low complexity areas
Engineering documentation
Evaluate products compared to standard, expected results
Basic Requirements:
BS Electronics and Communications Engineering degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
1-2 years relevant experience
