Primary report to GroupM Nexus Biddable Lead. Secondary report to GroupM Nexus AdTech Lead.
GroupM Nexus Responsibilities:
The GroupM Nexus team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high-value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The GroupM Nexus AdOps team addresses all technical specifications across material requisitions, handling of creative assets and tracking requirements (e.g. pixels and media tags) across biddable and non-biddable digital activities.
The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Nexus AdOps Team and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
Lead agency deliverables and campaign KPIs that have been committed to brands
Sets agenda and direction for AdOperation process improvements to enhance campaign delivery across GroupM Nexus and GroupM agencies
Drive consistent performance feedback to the team members
Proactively address, and if needed escalate, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
Be able to adapt to fast changing priorities
Leadquality control and assurancepracticesacross the AdOps team
Lead compliance and governance with finance process, GroupM policies and procedures.
Lead cross-function collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise
Incentivize knowledge share, continuous learning of AdTech Trends and new technologies and advocate best practices
Individual Responsibilities:
Oversee all activities across all biddable/non-biddable campaigns - AdOps team
Be a specialist leader - Team management and trusted mentor in GroupM Nexus
Lead and support all in-market adops excellence practice (inc. operational workflow efficiency, naming convention, quality assurance and process standardization) that delivers best in class tracking and data operations for measurement (i.e. tagging)
Demonstrate aptitude across digital operations and deliver technologies (such as AdServers, dynamic creative) to maximize campaign performance efficiency and performance
Demonstrate a holistic understanding of GroupM Agency's clients and advertising platform data profile and connectivity (i.e. AdServers, DSP, analytics)
Identify and lead any operations automation project across groups of specialists (such as use of APIs/custom scripts or any third-party tools)
Promote an analytical approach and problem-solving capability to the team
Effectively communicate and simplify technical explanations to senior GroupM Agency's stakeholders and/or clients
Work with market's GroupM Nexus AdTech lead to strengthen partnership across technology players such as AdServers, reputable third-party AdTech companies and vendors in order to apply innovative product solutions across campaign delivery
Collaborate with markets AdTech lead to support any agency/account solutions (including presentations/pitch work)
Be the voice of GroupM, as required, in order to grow GroupM's positioning as the torchbearer of the industry
Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
At least Bachelor's degree preferably in STEM and Media Technology or equivalent experience
6+ years of digital AdOps background and excellent knowledge in digital media
3+ years managing a business unit within a technical capacity
Established relationships with media partners, verification companies and large digital players like Google/FB
Very strong desire to evangelize the importance of operations, measurement among the agency planning community
Able to manage competing priorities
Leadership skills demonstrated as the ability to anticipate and remove barriers to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals, take effective decisions and challenge the status quo.
Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for yourself and others, holding teams accountable, focusing on continuous optimization while mitigating risks.
Passionate about digital media, AdTech, marketing tools and technologies and eager to keep learning
Ability to build and maintain a productive collaboration across teams
Persuasive and effective communicator
Ability to read/write SQL qQuery, consulting databases and effectively read/write HTML/Javascript
