JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accountancy or equivalent
CPA Passer
At least 6-10 years of work experience in the related field
Work experience in the related industry is a plus
Detail-oriented and organized
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To plan, coordinate, and align with Management on goals and objectives of the Accounting Department
To set and align with Direct Reports on departmental goals and objectives
To review and finalize all relevant financial statements such as balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows
To review and finalize standard PNL reports for Management
To ensure accuracy and efficiency of month-end closing of books
To ensure accuracy and efficiency of the work outputs of the whole department
To work with Management to resolve any accounting-related issues that may arise
To work with Management to mitigate accounting-related risks that may affect the business
To review and approve any action items required to reconcile all accounts
To prepare ad hoc reporting requirements as needed by Management from time to time
To properly review and approve work-related transactions within the agreed area of responsibility
To effectively manage the overall work outputs of assigned team members and ensure timeliness and quality of delivery
To provide support and/or training to accounting staff as needed
To perform other accounting-related tasks to be assigned as needed
To ensure compliance with standard company policies and processes, as well as all national and local government requirements to minimize, if not eliminate, any liabilities or penalties
