This is a remote position.
Timely and accurate bookkeeping
Preparation & lodgment of activity statements (BAS & IAS).
Timely delivery of monthly reports such as Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheet and KPI spreadsheet.
Timely delivery of periodic performance reports.
Preparation of Cash-flow forecasts
Responsible in processing all staff payroll through Xero financial software.
Receive, file and track all staff timesheets and ensure completed correctly.
Scheduling electronic payments and handing out paychecks.
Preparing payroll reports. Distributing payment statements.
Responding to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions being the contact person for all staff regarding timesheet submission and related queries (escalating complex issues for resolution).
Entering new employee data into the company database.
Carrying out Bank reconciliations
Credit card statements reconciliations
Accounts Receivable management
Preparation and sending of invoices to customers for service jobs
Preparation and management of reports and dashboards in Zoho Analytics
Daily monitoring and sending of Sales and Gross Profit Reports to the managing director
Requirements
Prior experience with Australian accounting/taxation
Working knowledge of Xero Accounting Software
Proficient with Microsoft apps with high-level MS Excel skills
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
Great communication skills both verbal and written
