Conceptualize and execute marketing images, styles, and campaigns
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
Bring original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks
Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Requirements
Proven work experience in marketing
Experience with web design
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or WordPress for rapid prototyping
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
