Job Responsibilities:
1. Study design briefs and determine requirements
2. Create visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.
3. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
4. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs
5. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
6. Work with copywriters and and developers in maintaining the company's social media pages, websites and marketing materials
7. Test graphics across various media
8. Amend designs after feedback
9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
10. Design marketing materials for web and print following standards that will be set by the company
11. Must be able to brand match with your designs AND over time improve the brand' s story creatively
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in art, graphic design or a related field
- 4+ years of work experience as a graphic designer
- Master of graphic design software
- Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
- Experience with web responsive design
- Experience with Wordpress as a designer
- Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills
- Ability to communicate design choices clearly
- Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision
