Role Overview:
Fortinet is seeking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to assist with the creation and delivery of artwork for projects ranging from campaigns, events, web, print, powerpoint and illustration. Candidate must be creative yet organized, and able to demonstrate initiative by delivering beyond the project request. This is not an order-taker role. This fast-paced marketing organization does not have traffic or project managers, so very strong project management skills are critical for success. This role services a large number of internal clients, including product, corporate, field, channel, partner and technical marketing groups.
Responsibilities:
Provide designs and finished artwork for marketing materials as defined by project requests
Assess project requirements, identify scope and set creative and timing expectations
Work closely with Director, Creative Services to establish project direction
Constantly strive to exceed creative expectations
Ensure that all work created aligns with visual standards and business objectives
Interface with other team members as necessary to complete project reviews on schedule
Confidently present concepts and designs to stakeholders
Work projects through to completion in an efficient manner
Deliver work on time and set accurate delivery expectations with teammates and stakeholders
Work with creative vendors (agencies, photographers, etc.) to ensure the creation of visually consistent work product
Maintain and evolve collateral template system consisting of flyers, brochures, solution briefs, white papers and others
Manage the product photography process working with an outside vendor
Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, Banners, and websites with software such as Adobe photoshop, Illustrator.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
Creating digital banners for emails, social media and printing
Coordinating with internal stakeholders, art services, and web designer as necessary
Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
Requirements:
3-4 years of design experience, ideally with an internal creative group
High-tech experience or from agency environment is a plus
Degree in advertising, marketing, design, art, or equivalent work experience
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Some experience with video editing
MS Office proficiency
Must be a self-starter and excellent communicator
Can collaborate and share ideas comfortably within workgroup
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to proof own work
Comfortable with ambiguity, but also able to proactively seek clarity when needed
A conceptual thinker that can solve problems quickly and efficiently
Willing to contribute to other internal team assignments
Can multi-task effectively, and stay organized
Relentlessly self-driven to improve
