Job Overview
Provide visual design support to the marketing department by creating specific marketing deliverables i.e. designs for social media posting, company website, and other marketing deliverables. The designer will also be tasked to supply creative designs in PowerPoint presentations, general marketing packages, and CRM entries and performing a variety of clerical functions in support of the company's marketing team and their campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the marketing team to conceptualize visual design and requirements
- Provide creative designs for social media platforms and company website
- Edit or enhance images to be posted across platforms
- Create presentation slides and assist to provide "best of class" PowerPoint presentations
- Assist the Marketing Department in gathering and compiling project data and other information
- Create marketing packages displaying the company's past projects
- Creating and updating project data sheets
- Data entry into WEO's CRM system, Cosential
- Assist in creating and posting various news items on the company's online pages
- Create an internal employees' newsletter
- Update and maintain the company's website
- Coordinate and work closely with the design and marketing team marketing team
Required Experience
- Experience with graphics and presentation layouts
A Successful Candidate must have
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign in creating and modifying layouts; Working with bookmarks, movies and sounds clips, hyperlinks, cross-references, and page transitions; Creating Interactive PDFs through InDesign
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe CC
- Use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for image manipulation and design
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact productively with the team
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- An eye for design and has creativity
- Ability to electronically organize and maintain files
