Job description
The role for this position will create and produce high-quality trailers, promotional videos, and marketing assets for Trove using gameplay capture, video editing, motion graphics, and social media content creation to build and engage our player community.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture and edit in-game footage for trailers, ads, and social media.
Create motion graphics & visual effects (logo animations, title screens, etc.).
Design marketing assets such as banners, store capsules, and promotional graphics.
Maintain and update the game website (WordPress preferred).
Requirements:
A video portfolio containing past work (professional and non-professional, bonus for video game-related content) is required.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema4D, or similar tools.
Experience with gameplay capture and optimization for promotional content.
Basic understanding of social media trends (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia / Advertising Arts or related field.
Genuine enthusiasm for video games and gaming culture.
Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration.
Bonus Skills:
Familiar with TROVE or any other similar games (live-service, MMORPGs)
Basic Understanding of WordPress and Website Content Management.
Understanding of digital marketing strategies for gaming audiences.
Knowledge of YouTube SEO, including keyword research, tags, and metadata optimization.
Experience in writing compelling video descriptions, captions, and social media copy.
Familiarity with influencer collaborations, UGC (User-Generated Content), and viral trends.
Experience with A/B testing for video thumbnails, ad creatives, and engagement metrics.
