Project Overview:
USAID RenewHealth project implemented by URC: Expanding Access to Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBDR) Services in the Philippines is a five (5) year project from May 2019 to May 2024. The primary objective of the project is to help persons who use drugs (PWUDs), people in recovery, and their families obtain access to informal care, self-help or community-based treatment and recovery support to reduce or prevent drug dependence. By the end of the project, more communities will be able to provide evidence-based approaches to CBDTR services that Filipino PWUDs and their families can access without fear or prejudice.
Job Description
Job Description:
· In collaboration with the technical team and URC headquarters, identify and describe the specific program description or scope of work for CSOs eligible for competition, and if for restricted competition or sole source funding, provide the justification for the recommendation.
· Issue requests for application based on the program requirement or scope of work
· Facilitate the review of applications for eligibility, and assist with the subsequent evaluation process for short-listed applicants in coordination with the Grants Selection Committee
· Maintain and update Grants filing system (physical and electronic copies)
· Monitor and report performance of awardees on a regular basis
· Collect and review documentation and reports of grantees as per the award
· Track contract and payments of Grants
· In coordination with the technical team and URC, perform periodic evaluations in order to review compliance with Grant requirements and USAID regulations; detect and resolve implementation problems
· Other related tasks that may be assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Qualifications:
· Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) preferably in business administration, public health, psychology, or other related field
· 5 years of relevant experience on managing grants preferably with CSOs
· At least 3 years of experience as member of an evaluation committee or being in-charge of establishing an evaluation and selection committee
· Familiarity with USAID regulations
· Experience in budget analysis and cost controls in development projects
· Knowledge/experience on community-based drug rehabilitation is an advantage
· Strong written and spoken English is required and knowledge on local dialect is an advantage;
· Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment; and,
· Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills particularly as related to report development
