What does a GL Accountant do?
The GL Accountant will help us in supporting the Finance team by performing all duties necessary to assist the department to achieve accurate record-keeping financial reporting and statutory regulatory compliances.; by possessing several years of relevant working experience in a multinational company; targeting to the world class manufacturing. The Senior GL Accountant will help us in supporting the Finance team by performing all duties necessary to assist the department to achieve accurate record-keeping financial reporting and statutory regulatory compliances.; by possessing several years of relevant working experience in a multinational company; targeting to the world class manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations timely, accurately, and in compliance with company accounting policy.
Preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations for period-end closing.
Perform Monthly bank reconciliations.
Perform Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) schedules submissions.
Perform costing for all importation-related transactions.
Maintain monthly fixed asset activity including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
In charge for all intercompany recharge's transaction between C961 and C963
Report preparation for the Accounts Payable Aging
Report preparation for the monthly summary of expanded withholding tax (WHT) and value added tax (VAT)
Updating products' selling price in ISIAS, including testing and evaluation of reports after system updates
Assist in preparation of audit requests and other projects as necessary.
Process Documentation and Compliance to SOX Control
What are we looking for in you?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
With minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a multinational company.
Advanced skills in Excel, and proficiency in other Microsoft Word and PowerPoint would be essential.
Knowledgeable in Local government taxation and compliance.
