Position Overview
RecruitGo is in search of a General Manager who will be working with our sister company based in Quezon City, Philippines. Our sister company is a Manpower Recruitment Agency that focuses on deploying Filipinos overseas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and securing the License, Operations, Client, Recruitment, Placement/Deployment, and or Regulatory Compliance.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone upbeat, analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses impeccable communication skills in both written and verbal using the English language.
Responsibilities:
OPERATIONS
Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, personnel, and stakeholders by actively participating in various organizations
Works closely with other top management personnel to ensure they can carry out their job efficiently, thereby ensuring client and organizational targets are met.
Account restoration and rehabilitation (if needed)
Performs analysis of organizational development and anticipates future employment needs
Marketing and business development, account maintenance
Manages and supervises all travel arrangements of deployed workers to warrant safe arrival at their destination
Provides general oversight of all Company activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organization
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
Build excellent relationships with key employees among clients
Create plans to address clients' business needs
Advise clients on creating processes that will satisfy business needs
Schedule regular meetings with client PICs to ensure they are satisfied
Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
RECRUITMENT
Plans and implements company acquisition strategy by continuously updating talent leads and pooling
Build good partnerships with clients by regularly communicating with them to get a clear view of their hiring needs & organizational goals
Defines job descriptions and document specifications based on clients' requirements
Ensure Job Order registration, verification, attestation, documentation, and license processes by establishing streamlined procedures
PLACEMENT/DEPLOYMENT
Ensures all provisions in the contract concerning working conditions are safe and that manpower engaged in carrying out work has been properly trained and understands the strict health and safety rules that apply within working environments
Ensures quality pool of talents by overseeing any training requirements and ensures personnel maintain all related legal and legislative requirements
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Complies with regulations of POEA rules and regulations, requirements by closely monitoring its circulars/announcements and building good relationships with the authorities.
Liaises daily with other partners; develops close working relationships with the POEA Authorities and attached agencies
Compliance with Immigration by understanding all legal requirements and having a full understanding of all Immigration procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / MBA Degree is an advantage
MUST have more than 10 years of previous experience within a manpower agency
Experienced in Human Resource Management (4 years applied experience)
Must be willing to be appointed as Board of Directors (BOD) or President and undergo training with DOLE - this includes a physical appearance with POEA for a panel interview to test the capacity (finances) to fund the company
Must be willing to be dedicated and work full-time with the company
Knowledgeable in the process of license issuance for the Philippines Recruitment Agency in DMW (formerly POEA)
Have experience in dealing with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO)
Extensive facilities administration, and management of local operations leading to the deployment of Filipino Workers
MUST have land-based manpower agency management experience and be familiar with interviewing and recruiting personnel
