Job Summary: The General Ledger Accountant will Assist in Month-End Close Cash and Spend and Expense Task(s), such as Preparation and Update of File(s), Preparation of Documentation(s), and Preparation of Journal Entries. You will be responsible in Mapping Transaction(s) to Proper General Ledger Account(s) and Department(s), Reconcile Balance(s), and Upload NetSuite Journal Entries. Daily Task(s) would also Include Preparation of Data and Other Support Information Request(s) as Needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Monthly Spend and Expense (S&E) Credit Card Journal Entries of the Company as well as Employee Transaction(s) - Includes Mapping of Transaction(s) to Proper General Ledger Account(s) and Department(s), Reconciling Balance(s), and Uploading NetSuite Journal Entries
Prepare Cash Journal Entries (Weekly and Monthly) and Reconcile General Ledger Balance to the Bank Balance Monthly, Assist in Month-End Close Cash and S&E (Spend and Expense) Task(s) such as Preparation and Update of File(s), Preparation of Documentation(s), and Preparation of Journal Entries
Help Prepare Data and Other Support Information Request(s) as Needed
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - with 3+ Year(s) of General Ledger Accounting Experience and/or Financial Statement Audit Experience, Experience with Large Accounting Firm(s) is Preferred, Experience with NetSuite is Preferred
Good Knowledge and Hands On Experience Working with Cash and Credit Card Transaction(s) and Accounting Operations, Strong Microsoft Excel Skills with Knowledge on Advanced Formula(s) (Such as lookup, index match, pivot table) and Comfortable with Large Data Set(s)
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Detail Oriented (Attention to Detail), Self-Starter and Deadline-Driven to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
