Job Description
Reporting to the President, successful candidate will supervise the day-to-day performance of General Accounting functions involving billing and collection, disbursement of funds, payroll, bookkeeping and maintenance of various accounting and financial records.
The position is responsible for keeping the books of accounts, preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal control systems, management and statutory reporting (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF, BIR, DOLE and other government agencies), business registration and permits, tax planning and tax compliance.
In addition, he/she prepares the annual budget for financial planning and control and periodically reviews and investigates variances and takes remedial steps versus material variances.
Job Qualification
Must have a degree in BS Accountancy or any Accounting related course
At least 3 years experience in Finance and Accounting
Technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
Familiarity with tax and reportorial regulations
Very good communication and coaching skills
Strong attention to details and confidentiality
Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP and other Accounting software
Able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
