Responsibilities
The General Accountant's main responsibility is to do accounting functions including bookkeeping to month-end reporting. He/She will assist the accounting team in all other accounting functions. Other responsibilities are:
• Perform accounting functions such as verifying, allocation, posting, and reconciling accounts.
• He/She will be responsible also for preparing and analyzing financial information and summarize status.
• Assist in financial statement audits
• Communicates with managers on accounting concerns, requirements, and reports
• Assist in financial and tax-related requirements
• Special projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
· At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
·
CPA board passer
· Thorough knowledge and understanding on basic accounting procedures, standards, and principles
·
Experienced in preparing financial statements
·
Experienced in bookkeeping and the month-end and year-end reports
·
Excellent accounting software user (preferably MYOB software)
·
Organized and keen on detail, focused on the accuracy and completeness of all processing
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills
·
Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
