GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
 
The General Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting management with financial analysis and compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining the company's financial health.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries 
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports 
Monitor accounts payable and receivable 
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts 
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations 
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control 
Support audits and respond to financial inquiries 
Coordinate with other departments regarding financial transactions 
Oversees the functions of other accounting staff members
Reports to upper management and board of directors regarding financial and accounting matters
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 
Previous accounting experience 
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting 
Experience with accounting software is an advantage 
Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
Time management and organizational skills 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
