The General Ledger (GL) Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting functions as to ensure accurate, complete and timely information are reported
Essential Functions:
Prepares general ledger journal entries, balance sheet & P&L account reconciliations and analyses for areas assigned such as, but not limited to, PO accrual, Fixed Assets, recurring and non-recurring accruals, Prepaids and Other assets and intercompany transactions
Maintain and monitor GL activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures
Assists in the analytical reviews of operating expense data by comparing monthly actuals to forecast to ensure that expenses are accurately recorded on a monthly basis. Prepares P&L per project
Prepare audit schedules (bir audit or external year end) or management reports as needed
Perform ad hoc analysis for Finance and Tax, and other inter-departmental teams as needed.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, or any relevant courses
Highly strong excel skills
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in multi-national company preferred
Organizational skills and detail-oriented approach are required.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
