About the Role
Branded is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant who will play a pivotal role in supporting the controlling department in the development and enhancement of internal processes. As a part of this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various areas within the Controlling team while taking responsibility to develop new processes while ensuring the highest level of accuracy in our accounts, amidst our rapid growth as a company. The ideal candidate for this role should be someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of taking a hands-on approach to their work.
What you will do
Develop process improvements and automation via VBA macros
Streamline month-end processes for accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Challenge current processes and identify opportunities for refinement
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the company
Who you are
Proven 3+ years of experience in a financial role in a multinational company
Experience creating VBA macros
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
Experience with ERP account systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite (Preferred)
Experience with reconciliations, bookkeeping, accruals etc.
Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions
Ability to work under pressure while thinking objectively
