Job Overview
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping, financial transactions, and ensuring we're compliant with all tax regulations.
Ultimately, you will provide us support to preparation on monthly statutory reports as well PEZA related transactions.
Job Descriptions:
Manage BIR reporting and payment including but not limited to VAT, EWT, FWT, WTC, 0605, 1702Q,1702RT, Alpha list
Responsible for PEZA reporting, including but not limited to EZMPR, TIMTA, Annual report filing, and renewal, if there is any
Handle Accounts Payable process and its related process such as 3-way matching and documentation
Handle business permit renewal and similar business transaction
Liaise with external customers/stockholders such as vendors, government agencies and others
Assist in month-end closing
Assist in Year-end audit
Other task as may be assigned
Qualifications:
BS Accountancy graduate or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Good oral and verbal communication skills
Advanced MS Excel skills and familiar with accounting software
Ideal personality traits: Can do attitude, collaborative, with sense of urgency, and with mature disposition
