General Accountant
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for qualified candidates to join our Accounting Department as a General Accountant.
As a General Accountant, you should also work with our Finance/Accounting team to manage financial accounting functions like bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and so on.
You should also be efficient to make comprehensive financial reports and forecasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform daily accounting transactions including bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and annual accounting reports.
• Ensure timely preparation, filing, and payment of all corporate tax returns.
• Carry out the annual audit by giving information and answers to auditors.
• Check the progress of accounting and financial objectives.
• Contribute to making policies and procedures to support the company's targets.
• Keep sensitive and important information confidential and ensure financial security.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline. A Master's degree in Accounting will also be considered.
• At least 1-year experience as a General Accountant or a similar position in the Accounting Department.
• Ability to ensure the accounting practices comply with the laws.
• Excellent working knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handles multiple tasks.
• Ability to explain and discuss financial data with team members.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• A keen eye on details for accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strong work ethics.
• Preferably residing near Taguig City
• Can start ASAP
