JOB DESCRIPTION
This job will provide support for the preparation and generation of financial information. The GA will assist the Accounting Manager in the management of the Department and provide guidance to accountants and assistants.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Check and analyze financial and economic information based on submitted documents.
Determine the adequacy of accounting information and completeness of supporting documents
Assist in the preparation and on-time filing of tax reports and returns
Provide assistance in the reconciliation and analysis of any discrepancy on account information
Generation of Trial Balance and suggest and endorse necessary adjustments as needed.
Generate and analyze Financial Statements - Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statements and other financial reports as required by the management.
Provide assistance and substantiate transactions during FS Audit
Help in the implementation and monitoring of accounting policies and procedures
Assist in the compliance of related government and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate of Accountancy, preferred, or any business related course
With experience in bookeeping, general financial recording, financial reporting, tax preparation and filing, budget presentation and monitoring.
Familiar with generally accepted accounting standard and proficient in the application of accounting, taxation, and budgeting policies.
Experience in Netsuite is preferred but not required.
Preferably with experience in people management
With integrity, initiative and good leadership qualities
Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
With problem solving skills, anallytical and team player
Good verbal and written communication skills
Willing to work in D. Tuazon, Quezon City with occassional travel to Silang, Cavite.
