GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the General Accountant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements, establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Roles and Responsibilities
Facilitates manual and online payments
Answers inquiries from suppliers via Skype and email
Provides support to statutory audit and other financial accounting related matters
Liaises with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are submitted in timely manner
Supports due diligence engagements, if any
Qualifications
Must possess Bachelor Degree in Accountancy
At least 2 years of work experience in General Accounting
Proficient in English communication skills
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting and collaborative softwares
Flexible, creative, responsive, able to take initiative, open to learning
Ability to work within systems and procedures, work effectively in a small team environment involving the sharing of information and at times sharing workloads
Ability to work independently, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Lives within a 1-hour commute to Alabang
