Job Purpose
Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Team Lead in carrying out the responsibilities of the finance department.\
Essential Functions
• Perform daily customer invoicing
• Collect payments, manage accounts, and resolve outstanding invoices.
• Perform cash application upon receipt of cash via wire, ACH or mail.
• Analyze accounts and prepare customer spend reports and other revenue related reports.
• Prepare journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, adjustments)
• Verify accuracy of HAW, ensuring that all data elements are within the guidelines.
• Reconcile HAWBs transmission from Chainlinq to AX.
• Perform accounting activities within the corporate treasury functions.
• Perform all accounting activities for multiple corporate entities.
• Match, code and enter accounts payable invoices to AX.
• Assist with the month end close and account reconciliations.
• Process Tax-related requirements
• Correspond with customers and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years progressive, relevant accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, including productivity applications (Excel) and financial accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics A/X knowledge strongly preferred.
• Experience in managing accounting and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English. Must be able to communicate financial and accounting information to non-accounting professionals.
