Drake's top client - a shared service provider of a Filipino conglomerate is currently hiring an Accounting Officer/General Accountant to be part of their collaborative team in Makati City!
Core function:
We are looking for a General Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Publish financial statements on time.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
Audit financial transactions and documents.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
A Certified Public Accountant
With 2-3 years of general accounting and 1 year of people management experience.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications and other accounting software
Willing to work on a hybrid setup (3x/week onsite) in Makati City.
