Qualifications:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent (CPA is preferred but not required)
- With good communication skills- Has knowledge in Accounting, and has advance computer skills - particularly in using MS Office Application- Word, Excel, Powerpoint (should be detail-oriented)
- At least 3 years of working experience in handling general accounting and reporting
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing the ledger, or compilation of some or all of the company's accounts.
- Maintain an entire company's books and make numerous daily computations to update accounting records
- Responsible in providing accounting support to finance and admin manager.
-Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed.
Duties:
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and schedules
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g. disbursements, expense, vouchers, receipts, accounts payable)
- Manage and maintain records pertaining to office and operational expense.
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors
- Assist in monitoring invoices, collection and prepare reports of unpaid billings
- Continuous update on tax and accounting regulations
- Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly tax returns and other statutory requirements- VAT, WHT, EWT, HDMF, PHIC related-matters- preparation and submission of required reports- Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
- Perform other work delegated by the superiors
