The successful candidate will be providing bookkeeping and accounting service to a US company.
Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bring the books to the trial balance stage
Perform partial checks of the posting process
Complete tax forms
Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Requirements:
well-versed in US GAAP and experienced supporting US companies
able to independently handle accruals, reconciliations. variance analysis, month-end close, etc
well-rounded in all areas of accounting (AP, AR, GL), but particularly GL/financial reporting
QuickBooks online would be a plus
self-sufficient and capable of working with minimal oversight
individual contributor role
Willing to work in a fixed night shift
Amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa once office set-up resumes
