Summary
The Team Lead Technical could also serve as process and technical lead for Estimate Review Engineers, ensuring that the department provides internal and external clients with consistent, timely, and high quality property work product that meets Crawford, industry, and client specific standards.
Job Scope
A. Estimate Review Lead Function
Leads personnel including performance appraisals and personnel issues. Provides counseling, coaching, staff development, positive reinforcement and training. This includes coordination of and conducting individual and team meetings to discuss and resolve operational, company, and personnel issues consistently and efficiently.
Leads staff to ensure high levels of customer service.
Monitors assigned work to ensure balanced workload and production and quality standards are met.
Conducts quality reviews of adjuster estimates to ensure estimates are technically accurate and meet appropriate industry guidelines and standards for repair.
Interacts with clients (verbal and written) for specific discussions relating to assignment activity.
Interact with Regional & Team Managers for assistance with adjuster compliance matters.
Maintains product quality through compliance with network service standards.
Works to enhance or design applications as needed for improving processes.
Resolves internal and external client issues.
Serves as subject matter expert of Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, client estimating guidelines, and other property applications.
Maintains overall knowledge of Loss Adjusting and Platforms business model.
Conducts audits of department work product.
Communicates necessary information to employees on a timely basis.
Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
Upholds and projects the public image of the Company.
Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.
Functional Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (for Estimate Review Lead)
Two (2) to three (3) years equivalent work experience as team lead
For Estimate Review Lead: minimum of three (3) years construction estimating or property adjusting background or related experience.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage own work and others' effectively
Demonstrate leadership with capability to motivate and inspire
Demonstrates initiative and implements changes to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency
Interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as a team member
Keen attention to details with regards to own work and of team members
Maintains high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
