Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Submission and management of funding requests to funding bodies
Driving efficiencies and optimization demonstrated through the reduction in approval time of funding requests
Processing payment and submitting Medicare claims for sessions conducted by psychologists and psychiatrists
Preparation or review and submission of invoices to all funding bodies by agreed and varied methods
Update and distribute of daily appointment dashboard (until automated)
Debtors management, following up on outstanding collections
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all invoices and claims to support up-to-date accounting
Led assigned projects
Supporting other roles within the PCT as required
A Successful Candidate Must Have
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Ideally worked in a medical practice billing patient
Familiar with the Stripe payment system (Preferred)
Good computer application skills
Good organizational skills
Excellent time management
Excellent written and verbal communication
