The Role
As a Functional Testing Head, you will define, implement and refine strategies to ensure successful Functional Test Delivery. Will be involved in complex resource planning and provide direction in managing projects. Implement overall test strategy to different projects simultaneously.
How you'll contribute
Oversee all Software Testing activities of more than 3 medium to complex projects simultaneously.
Create and update the Test Plan on a program level including technology, resources, and project plan.
Oversee technical and non-technical issues and disputes related to the test process
Direct different project teams and allocate resources to fulfill stakeholder requirements.
Establish procedures and/or automated performance measurement capability to monitor the progress of testing. Align with the Project Manager on the status of testing and drive the approval of the test results.
Establish automated testing whenever applicable and recommend test cases for automation continuously. Propose improvements on the test process, test automation, and overall improvement of the unit.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer, Computer Science / Information Technology, or other related fields.
At least 10 years of solid experience in Software Testing Lifecycle process and Testing Methodologies.
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Has excellent communication skills and can effectively work with cross-functional teams. Able to negotiate well too.
Good documentation skills - job relies on recording and reporting the problems found.
Excellent problem-solving skills and can find solutions to impediments and process improvements.
Knowledge of core banking.
Exceptional critical thinking skills and is able to direct and decide which path to pursue.
Able to adapt and is reliable with different testing techniques (such as automation versus manual testing) & using common tools.
Capable of leading and guiding program-level teams.
Experienced in risk & issue Management - able to identify risk and mitigate.
Good planning and management skills.
Preferably, Certified Test Manager - ISTQB Advanced Level.
