Job Description
Responsibilities:
Identify and triage defects to ensure testing is completed in an efficient and effective fashion.
Plan and undertake testing activities as required across various BAU releases and projects.
Identify and implement tests that are suitable for automation testing.
Liaise with third party providers and other project teams to execute testing activities.
Assist other testers, business analysts and solution architects with analysis and documentation.
Assist Business to undertake User Acceptance Testing and Showcase
Liaise with Business Analyst during requirement and design review sessions.
Develop and update documentation and materials that assist end users to use ICT technology and services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of experience across required areas of expertise
Good understanding of complex system integration testing
Previous experience in conducting functional and system testing.
Demonstrated skills in identifying, troubleshooting, explaining and recording defects.
Good communication skills (written and oral as well as presentation abilities) and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and willingness to work on a range of tasks as delegated throughout the project lifecycle.
Able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment as well as autonomously without direct
supervision.
Proactive in identifying and discussing improvements to current processes.
Relevant experience in previous testing roles
Experience testing cloud deployed software (AWS, Azure)
Previous exposure to agile project methodologies
Working knowledge of testing tools like Confluence/Jira, Test Rail, etc.
Experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Watir + Ruby, etc.
Experience using tools such as Postman, SOAPUI
Demonstrated experience in API/Micro services testing.
