Our client is a developer of websites and web stores employing a team of 20-30 highly skilled individuals in Melbourne. They have asked us to search and recruit a full-time Fullstack Ruby on Rails Developer who will work closely with their team in Australia to build engaging and unique digital experiences.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
2-3 years minimum experience in professional web development work (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript)
A strong command over PHP and proficient in MySQL (PhpMyAdmin)
A detailed understanding of back-end mechanics including:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript/JQuery
Bootstrap/Responsive techniques
Open Source CMS, including one of the following:
Wordpress
Experience developing custom themes and plugins
You should also be able to demonstrate:
Good communication skills and the ability to understand requirements from others and explain, document, and help integrate the solution
Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality work
Team player with the ability to work independently
Very high level of quality assurance
Preferred Skills:
Linux experience (SSH)
Good knowledge of Plesk or cPanel servers
Commercial experience with AWS, Git
Integrating with 3rd Party Web APIs
Laravel, Symfony, Cake, CodeIgniter or Zend
Experience with SaaS Solutions, CRM, marketing automation and web analytics solutions
Basically, you will be helping with customisation jobs on WordPress
Basic Requirements:
