A Full Stack developer is responsible for front and back-end web development. Usually, good full-stack developers will understand how to work with several languages and databases including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, coding for mobile platforms, and everything in between.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing front-end website architecture
- Develops and maintains clients' e-commerce websites
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Developing back-end website applications
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
- Website and Database maintenance
- Blog upload and updates
- Web server maintenance checks disk space and site speed
- Optimize website (Check on-site SEO: Description, Title, and keywords)
- Fix and keep up to date plugins
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Create different UI patterns and components for maximum reusability and improved maintainability of the front-end side
Required Experience
- WordPress, Woocommerce, Bigcommerce, or other CMS experience preferred
- Proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, PHP
- HTTP/RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming
- Linux Web server configuration
- Familiar with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery
- Web security blocks attackers
- SEO tool: Google Analytics, Google search console
- Experienced website sitemap and XML sitemap
