YOUR ROLE
One of Australia's leading learning resource providers is looking for a world class, experienced Full Stack PHP Developer to join our dynamic international team. You will be responsible for effective custom feature development and expand our Moodle LMS (Learning Management System) functionality to deliver company and client visions.
You will demonstrate a high level of experience and talent as a full stack developer, with a proven track record.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be working remotely in an Agile environment alongside tight knit teams in Brisbane, Australia and Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the Project Manager on day-to-day responsibilities that include Full Stack feature development and maintenance.
You will be able to work autonomously and as part of an international team.
You will have great attention to detail, pride in your work, a desire to learn new skills and strive to exceed in your role.
Requirements
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
You must possess:
At least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least three (3) years experience as Lead Developer
Very Strong Level PHP/,HTML/CSS/Javascript
Very Strong Level SQL/SQL skills.
Experience developing and working with APIs / web services and integrations
Ability to achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise concurrent tasks
Analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to learn and master new technologies
BIG ADVANTAGE IF YOU HAVE
Moodle development experience - particularly plugin development and moodle administration experience.
Best practice systems design and architecture (senior/lead candidates)
Git and general version control experience
Comprehensive understanding of caching mechanisms and technologies
