As a software developer you will be asked to join our team in the creation of custom solutions for our customers.
Java is the primary development language used, primarily in a J2EE server-side environment.
An ability to write client java code to execute REST, GraphQL, or SOAP based web services, publishing services, and executing JDBC transactions are all needed.
Familiarity with standard server-based build tools, including Git, Jenkins and Maven is also required.
Experience with web service tools and standards including SoapUI, Postman, and Swagger would be helpful.
Developers are expected to be able to work independently based on written design specifications, and clearly communicate status and issues.
An ability to accurately estimate remaining work, escalate issues or problems, and meet deadlines is important.
This role will involve multiple development tasks, including new applications, maintenance of existing applications, and providing production support of existing systems.
5+ years of experience in Java - backend/frontend, J2EE, SoapUI, Postman, Eclipse, Maven, GitHub (or some other organizational code repository).
Proficiency in popular coding languages including Java, JavaScript, and C# and frameworks or systems such as Angular, React, and Git Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experienced in REST, GraphQL, or SOAP based web services.
Experienced in Jenkins (or some other organizational CI/CD build tools) - Linux/Unix
Experienced in finding logs on specific servers in Apache Tomcat, WinSCP, PuTTY, JavaScript, NodeJS, and Unit Testing.
Background in Confluence (strong documentation philosophy) - Python - GitBash - Audacity
Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong collaborator and enjoys team environment - Agile experience - Jira (managing updates via Agile communication tools) Other nice to haves: - IVR Development tools - Frontend development Frameworks.
