The successful candidate will be responsible for software analysis, design, development, documentation, defect resolution, and implementation of the components for the associated software applications, adhering to our development standards and best practices in an agile world.What You'll Do:Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and refine components within our solutionDeveloping and maintaining our application suite using a repeatable CI/CD patternCreating robust and flexible software solutions in collaboration with the development teamAssisting in configuring, integrating, and supporting various Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) applicationsCollecting, generating, or refining high-level requirements and creating implementation strategies, acceptance criteria, and test casesDeploying solutions to quality assurance environments and resolving defects discovered during testingAssisting in tracking project progress and ensuring timely resolution of defectsCreating and maintaining comprehensive supporting documentationUndertaking additional software development responsibilities as requiredHigh engagement with the team on development practicesRegular achievement of sprint tasks and goalsProduction of high-quality code with minimal defectsWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of experience working in software development, with a focus on consumer and business applicationsTertiary Qualifications in Computer Science or IT related fieldThe candidate should have good skills in the software development lifecycle, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledgeStrong development experience with .PHP and LaravelAn understanding of responsive web design and experience in front end single- page application (SPA) JavaScript frameworks like Vue, Reactjs and AngularUnderstanding of SOA with knowledge of integration technologies like XML, SOAP, XSLT, JSON, RESTful, GraphQL web-servicesExperience working in Agile development environmentsExperience working within an AWS environment including an understanding of serverless servicesStrong experience with managing project and agile tracking and knowledge base tools such as JIRA, Linear and ConfluenceEffective at user story writing and converting business requirements into technical detailGrooming and estimation of the product backlog requirements, and as required, working with the Business Analysts to get them into a state of readiness for sprint planningExperience building out and using CI/CD pipelines and management tools eg GitlabWhy You'll Love Joining the CO Fam!At Clark Outsourcing, we're redefining what it means to work in a BPO.
