Job Summary: Laneways Agency is lookingfor a Full Stack Developer who's able to collaborate and have the ability to lead projects with the goal of providing scalable software solutions. Theis position will be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle , from conception to deployment andshould be comfortable around Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS. Responsibilities: Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions Will work on existing large projects Mostly work on the backend Design client-side and server-side architecture Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications Write effective APIs Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Create security and data protection settings Secondary Tasks/Ad-hoc: Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design Requirements Proven at least 5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role Recent 3 years of experience in multiple back-end languages such as Ruby or Rails and React Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB ), web servers (e.g. Apache ) and UI/UX design Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field Good English communications, both written and verbal Must be willing to work in Mondays to Fridays, 8:30AM to 5:30PM Melbourne work schedule Advantageous/Preferably: Worked on projects with OpenAPI, Postgres, AWS, Gitlab, Golang, and/or NestJS Familiarity in SaaS multi-tenant solution Benefits WHAT WE OFFER: ' Above-Industry Standard Compensation Package ' Premium Healthcare Coverage and Life Insurance ' Fun Monthly Employee Engagement Activities ' Opportunities for Learning, Personality Development, and Career Advancement
