FUEL MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
Track fuel usage and levels in storage tanks to ensure accurate and timely reordering.
Schedule and coordinate fuel deliveries with vendors, ensuring timely supply.
Keep accurate records of fuel deliveries, usage, and inventories, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that all fuel-related equipment (e.g., tanks, pumps, meters) is functioning correctly and adheres to safety standards.
Assist in the processing of fuel invoices and generating regular reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to fuel storage and distribution.
Help with internal and external audits by providing accurate data and documentation on fuel management.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth fuel management operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Fuel Management (or related fields)
Previous experience in fuel management, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other relevant software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of fuel management systems and processes.
Understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to fuel storage and usage.
Basic accounting skills for managing fuel costs and budgets.
Skills:
Strong leadership skills to guide and manage a janitorial team.
Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and interact with team members and management.
Ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
Efficient scheduling and task delegation to ensure work is completed within designated time frames
Experience:
Reduced fuel costs by [percentage] through implementing a more efficient fuel tracking system.
Improved fuel usage reporting accuracy by updating and refining record-keeping processes.
