Job Description:
We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team in our Manila office. While having strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills are a must, the ideal candidate should have extensive experience building interactive web pages and be able to develop functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts. We are a small and growing agile team and you will play a key role with a lot of responsibilities, so we need folks who are strong independent thinkers, self-motivated, and highly communicative.

Requirements
What you will bring
We're looking for developers with strong engineering foundations with the following criteria:
● A passion for working in small agile teams (Scrum)
● A love for finding creative and thoughtful solutions to a variety of technical and product challenges
● A desire to write scalable, efficient, maintainable code
● Experience building robust functionality for commercial websites and applications
● Exceptional problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling diverse development challenges
● Self-learner, independent, and have outstanding problem-solving skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Must be able to work with eastern time hours
What you have
To be considered seriously, you will have:
● Able to work on night shift (starts within 9PM - 11PM Manila Time)
● 5+ years of web development experience
● Advanced experience on the latest development updates, trends a must
● Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
● Experience in working with either Angular or React as must
● Experience in working with industry standard Javascript libraries like JQuery
● Responsive design experience with Bootstrap or Foundation
● Advanced understanding of AJAX techniques, REST and JSON
● Web page optimization skills
● Advanced debugging skills using various debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Web Development Tool
● Experience working with Git distributed source code
● Desire to keep up with the latest web technologies
Bonus points/Nice to have :
● UI/UX skills (A portfolio to showcase of your work a plus)
● SASS or LESS knowledge
● Familiar with Node.js
● Mobile app development with React Native
● Unix skills
● Experience working with test frameworks like Selenium, Karma, Protractor, and/or Jasmine
