FRONTDESK EXECUTIVE / CASHIER
This role is one of the most important employees of any service business. She accommodates clients/guests by greeting, performing guest's transactions, answering the telephone, operating necessary office equipment, etc. to ensure high-quality guest relation. Must have a technical/administrative knowledge, should have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills and should be able to maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receives and transmits telephone messages, inquires and reservations.
Answers inquiries pertaining to outlet services, events registration of guests, dining reservations.
Provides and ensures high-quality guest relations. Receives and resolves member's/guest's complaints in a manner consistent with company policy.
Greet the guest in a friendly manner and acknowledge each customer individually.
Relay to the team the proper information that needs to be addressed i.e., BEO, reservations, guest details, etc.
Provide materials needed for events i.e., food tags, name tags, survey sheet, etc.
Is responsible for maintenance of important documents, files and records in an organized manner.
Ensuring that all the meeting kit items are in stock and are being accounted for.
Accurately process sales in order to obtain a total purchase amount.
Accept the payment forms that are accepted by the company and offered by the customer. Payments may not always be in cash often they are by credit card, gift cards, store credits, food stamps and other methods. Give proper change as needed.
Able to operate POS system and basic trouble shooting.
Knowledgeable in manual computation for every transaction in POS i.e., senior disc, PWD disc, etc.
Perform shift closing on the Point of sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
Accurately encode daily sales reports, event bookings, reservations, etc. to the system.
Accurately send end of day reports to supervisors and managers.
Make sure to deposit the daily cash sales to finance every after end of day.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
Implement and enforce sanitation and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Secretarial, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Wide experience in customer service relations and basic cashiering.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
Proficient in computer applications related to food and beverage management.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
