JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interpret the business requirements and build to specifications provided
• Ensure solution decisions are aligned with the project architecture vision
• Ensure that technology solutions meet internal IT&S and Audit policies and procedures, client
mandated security standards, established development best practices & frameworks.
• Participate in defect triages internally with the Manila team and if required, with SLC
Technology team, to solve issues & remove blockers
• Perform peer code review and provide timely feedback
• Escalate risks & issues proactively, including mitigation steps and alternate solutions
approaches to problems identified to the manager
JOB QUALIFICATION
Required Skills and Experience:
• 4+ years professional experience building highly interactive web applications
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, LESS, JavaScript
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility, testing and debugging
• Experience with front-end development frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS, Angular 2x)
• Experience developing modular, reusable components and/or scripts
• Experience with command line build tools such as Webpack, Gulp/Grunt or other
framework specific CLI tools
 
 
• Dependency management using Yarn or NPM
• Basic animation skills (Greensock, CSS3, SVG)
• Implementing analytics and script containers such as GTM
• Experience with design programs such as Illustrator, Sketch and Photoshop
• Strong Source Control experience with one of the following systems (Git, TFS, Subversion)
• Experience with modern development IEDs such as IntelliJ, VS Code, Sublime Text, etc.
• Knowledge and experience consuming RESTful web services
• Knowledge of written & spoken English
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math (or Related)
 
Beneficial, but not required:
• Experience with modern CMS systems such as Drupal, Wordpress, AEM or Sitecore
• Understanding of SEO principles
• WCAG 2.0 Accessibility and 508 requirements
• Advanced animation skills (Greensock, CSS3, SVG, Canvas)
• Agency experience
